Welcome to Battle Faeries, a browser-based PvP RPG operated by truck8.ai (KVK 97413402). By using Battle Faeries you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Service Description

Battle Faeries is a text-based, browser-based multiplayer role-playing game. The game is currently in early access and features may change, be added, or be removed at any time without notice.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. Premium Subscription

Battle Faeries offers an optional premium subscription with additional features. Premium subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You can cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe customer portal, and you will retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing period. Refunds are handled in accordance with applicable law.

4. Virtual Items & Currency

In-game currency (gold), items, and faeries are virtual goods with no real-world monetary value. We reserve the right to modify, reset, or remove virtual items for game balance purposes, especially during early access.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use unauthorized bots, scripts, or automated tools to interact with the game (see section 6 for our official Agent API)
  • Exploit bugs or glitches for unfair advantage (please report them instead)
  • Attempt to access other players' accounts
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service
  • Circumvent rate limits or other protective measures

6. Agent API

Battle Faeries provides an official Agent API that allows players to interact with the game programmatically using API keys. Use of the Agent API is permitted and encouraged, subject to the following conditions:

  • You may only use the Agent API with your own account and API keys
  • You must respect all rate limits enforced by the API
  • Agent actions are logged and may be reviewed for abuse
  • We reserve the right to revoke API access for accounts that abuse the system

7. Intellectual Property

All game content, including but not limited to code, art, text, and game mechanics, is owned by truck8.ai. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any game content without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

Battle Faeries is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, truck8.ai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the Netherlands.
